Manufacturing & Testing of IP67 Full-Glue Waterproof LED Decor Bulbs (E14 / E27 / B22)
WendaDeco’s decorative LED bulbs adopt 100% full glue potting technology to reach IP67 dustproof & waterproof grade, different from ordinary gasket-sealed low-waterproof bulbs. Below is the full production workflow and standardized IP67 testing process, tailored for E14 small screw, E27 standard screw, B22 bayonet lamp bases.
Part 1: Full-Glue IP67 Bulb Manufacturing Process
1. Raw Material Preparation & Pre-Processing
- Lamp housing & shade: Injection molded PC plastic globe/shatterproof shell (or clear glass cover). All mating seams are polished to zero gap for glue adhesion; ultrasonic cleaning removes oil/dust residue to avoid glue peeling.
- Lamp bases (E14/E27/B22): Nickel-plated metal threaded/bayonet bases with precision grooves for glue locking.
- Core electronics: Constant-current LED driver PCB + SMD/filament LED chips, high-temperature resistant wires.
- Waterproof potting glue: Two-component modified silicone/epoxy resin (UV-resistant, low-shrinkage, high thermal conductivity, non-corrosive to circuits) — the core material for full IP67 sealing.
