Commercial tree displays require a product and installation plan that fits the site, mounting arrangement and local requirements. Do not infer safety, run length, brightness or weather protection from the voltage alone. Review the exact string and power components selected for the project.
WENDADECO has manufactured lighting since 1999 and exported since 2013. This checklist helps project teams gather the information needed to review a 24V lighting configuration.
Confirm the complete model and power configuration
Record the exact string model, supply voltage, bulb type and wattage, cable and connector details, transformer, set length and any controls. Ask the supplier to confirm that the listed items are compatible as a complete configuration. Do not assume a 24V model can be extended or paired with a different transformer without model-specific approval.
Check ratings by component
Request IP documents for the exact string, transformer, bulbs and connectors used in the proposed display. IP ratings vary by model. Certain WENDADECO festoon strings have IP65 reports, while some 24V G50 belt-string models are IP44. Selected Christmas string models have separate IP67 reports, as do certain transformers and bulbs. Check each exact model document. One component's IP rating does not automatically apply to the complete assembly or the installation.
Review documents for the destination market
Ask for documents that match the exact product models and destination market. WENDADECO does not claim TÜV certification. Check the stated scope of any other mark or report; a document may cover a specific component rather than the whole lighting system.
Plan the site and installation
Provide a site drawing or photographs, tree height and shape, mounting and support details, power locations, access constraints and planned operating period. Have the responsible project professional assess structural supports, clearances, electrical protection and maintenance access. Installation design and electrical work should follow local requirements and be completed by suitably qualified professionals.
