Festoon Lights Technical Specifications FAQ
Use product documents for the exact model and configuration when planning a commercial installation. This guide lists the verified reference figures and explains which details must be confirmed before ordering.
What is the standard 230V festoon string specification?
The standard reference specification is 230V, 10 m length and 50 cm lamp spacing. Other lengths, spacings and configurations must be confirmed for the selected product model and order.
What is the confirmed 24V system length and lamp count?
For the specified configuration using a 24V, 200W transformer and 0.5W DIP bulbs, the confirmed setup is 100 m with 300 bulbs. The bulbs have a combined rated load of 150W (300 × 0.5W), within the stated 200W transformer rating. This figure applies to that configuration only; do not treat it as a universal limit for every 24V product.
Can one 24V transformer support 400 m or 4,000 bulbs?
Do not use 400 m or 4,000 bulbs as a single-transformer design figure. The confirmed reference above is 100 m / 300 bulbs for the specified 200W configuration. Any different layout requires model-specific written confirmation and system design before procurement.
What IP rating should I specify?
IP ratings vary by model and component. Ask for the test report that names the exact string, bulb or power-supply model. A power supply or bulb rating must not be used as the rating for the complete lighting system.
What else should be checked before installation?
Confirm the exact product model, rated voltage, lamp wattage, total connected load, driver compatibility, cable length, outdoor exposure and destination-market documents. A 24V driver still connects to the mains supply, so the complete installation must be designed and installed in accordance with applicable local rules by a competent professional.
For a project quotation, provide the model or desired configuration, voltage, total run length, bulb type and quantity, destination country and installation requirements. The quotation and product documents should be used as the final reference for the ordered system.
